Course Objectives

At the end of this course the student gains the knowledge of the new features and functionalities provided by the core avionic software Phase 6.

Course Contents

Improvements in AW169 aircraft and system performances, as well as the increase of its capabilities, are made available through upgrades named “Phases”, the latest of which is Phase 6.

Core Avionics Phase 6.0 consists of Software and Hardware changes to the following components:
AFCS Application SW
AFCS Actuators
AMMS Application SW
CDS Application SW

This update, introduces the features brought in by the Software Phase 6 by covering the following topics:

  • Publications (RFM and QRH)
  • Auto Flight Control System (AFCS)
  • Flight Management System (FMS)
  • Cockpit Display System (CDS)
