Course Objectives
At the end of this course the student gains the knowledge of the new features and functionalities provided by the core avionic software Phase 6.
Course Contents
Improvements in AW189 aircraft and system performances, as well as the increase of its capabilities, are made available through upgrades named “Phases”, the latest of which is Phase 6.
Core Avionics Phase 6.0 consists only of Software changes to the following components:
AMMS Application SW (including VMS and FMS)
CDS Application SW
This update, introduces the features brought in by the Software Phase 6 by covering the following topics:
- Publications (RFM and QRH)
- Flight Management System (FMS)
- Cockpit Display System (CDS)
